San Diego Border Roleplay Weapons & Gear

Border Patrol agents and specialist teams carry weapons, restraints, inspection tools, and communication gear mapped to inventory hotkeys. Understanding your loadout before reaching the checkpoint prevents fumbling during live inspection roleplay.

Border Patrol Loadout

Standard agent gear includes sidearms, less-lethal options, restraints, batons, and inspection tools. Each item occupies an inventory hotbar slot activated by number keys (PC) or bumper buttons (controller). Pre-arrange your hotbar with most-used tools in slots 1-3.

The June 22, 2026 update rebalanced weapon systems including melee weapon statistics. Damage values, swing speed, and less-lethal effectiveness may differ from earlier sessions. Re-test your loadout after each biweekly patch rather than assuming previous muscle memory still applies.

Civilian Gear

Civilians typically carry minimal gear — personal items, job tools, and optionally contraband props for smuggling roleplay. Job-specific equipment appears when you accept employment at map locations.

Premium Gamepass Weapons

The Heavy Weapons gamepass (299 Robux) unlocks civilian access to purchase the Dragunov sniper rifle and M249 light machine gun. The RPG gamepass (999 Robux) grants civilian access to purchase the RPG launcher. These are optional premium options — base team loadouts remain fully functional without purchase.

Using Gear Effectively

Press F (PC) to toggle active tools. Switch between items with number keys during inspections — agents may need to move from communication to restraints quickly when a smuggling scenario escalates. Practice in a safe area before your first live checkpoint shift.

The July 2026 update added shoot-from-inside-vehicles capability — passengers can fire weapons while seated in moving vehicles. This changes pursuit and heist escape tactics. Use responsibly within roleplay rules; random drive-by violence triggers moderation on most servers.
