San Diego Border Roleplay Teams

San Diego Border Roleplay ships seven distinct teams — each with unique vehicles, uniforms, loadouts, and gear. Three teams are free (Civilian, Border Patrol, Police). Four premium teams (FBI, US Army, SWAT, BORTAC) unlock with Robux. Team choice defines your entire experience, from checkpoint authority to house robbery, printer raids, and high-risk contraband roleplay.

Free vs Premium Teams

Civilian, Border Patrol, and Police require no Robux purchase. Join any of these from the team menu on your first session. Premium teams — FBI, US Army, SWAT, and BORTAC — unlock through Robux gamepass or developer product purchase in the in-game store tab. Premium teams grant advanced vehicles, weapons, and uniforms suited to specialized enforcement or tactical roleplay.

New players should try free teams first. Border Patrol teaches checkpoint mechanics. Police teaches warrant raids and apartment confiscation income (~$10k per printer). Civilian unlocks every money method — smuggling, printers, house robbery, and bank heists. Premium teams reward players who already know the map and want elite gear. See our Premium Teams page before spending Robux.

How to Switch Teams

Tap the team icon in the top-right HUD — it sits between the shopping cart (store) and the house (property) icons. Open the team selection menu, pick your new role, and respawn at that team's base. You can switch mid-session without rejoining the server.

Switching teams resets your spawn location and loadout but not your cash balance. Plan vehicle spawns after switching — you cannot access Border Patrol interceptors while on Civilian, or civilian economy tools while on enforcement teams.

Choosing the Right Team

New players benefit from trying Civilian and Border Patrol before committing. Our Team Comparison page ranks all seven teams by playstyle, difficulty, income potential, and social interaction level. Police is the best free enforcement income path; premium teams suit veterans who want tactical gear.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many teams are in the game?
Seven as of August 2026: Civilian, Border Patrol, and Police (free); FBI, US Army, SWAT, and BORTAC (Robux unlock).
Can I switch teams without rejoining?
Yes. Use the team icon in the top-right HUD (between the cart and house icons), select a new team, and respawn at the new base.
Do teams share the same map?
All teams play on the same San Diego border map with different spawn points, garages, and equipment.
Which free team earns the most money?
Police earns through apartment printer confiscation (~$10k per unit). Civilians earn through smuggling, printers, house robbery, and bank heists — higher risk, higher ceiling.
