San Diego Border Roleplay Laundromat Guide
The Laundromat turns smuggling sale payouts into usable cash. After you sell goods on the Autoshop roof, a wash cycle completes the civilian dirty-money loop without scripts or third-party tools.
Where the Laundromat Is
The LAUNDROMAT sits in the same economy cluster as the Black Market Goods shop and Weapon Shop. After a rooftop sale, drive or walk back to this area rather than camping on the Autoshop roof — agents and rival players often watch high-traffic sell points.
Older community notes also mention $390 wash interactions at machines (press E on PC). Current August 2026 runs emphasize matching the laundered notification to your sell amount — for example "Laundered $7,617" after a five-goods sale — and watching your top-right cash balance rise.
Step-by-Step Wash
Complete a black-market purchase and Autoshop rooftop sale first so you have a smuggling payout to clean. Enter the Laundromat, interact with a washing machine, and wait for the laundered notification. If the balance does not update, confirm you received the sell notification earlier and that you are using the correct machine interaction.
Treat the building as a soft hotspot. Other civilians may rob or interrupt during peak hours, and law-enforcement players may stake out the doorway. Move in, finish the cycle, and leave toward a legal civilian activity or the next black-market batch.
How Laundering Fits the Meta
Money printers remain the highest AFK yield, but the goods → roof → laundromat loop is the fastest active cash method for players who prefer short manual trips. Beach house gardening stays the low-risk supplemental option. Combine methods based on whether you want AFK, active loops, or property play.
Boat Smuggling (August 15–17 event window) may add a water route that still ends with sell and clean steps. Bookmark our Boat Smuggling Guide and Updates pages for confirmed changes after that weekend.
