San Diego Border Roleplay Shoot From Vehicles Guide
The July 2026 update added shoot-from-inside-vehicles — passengers can fire while seated in a moving car, truck, or bike escort. This guide covers how the mechanic changes pursuits and heists, and how to use it without breaking roleplay etiquette or the no-exploit policy.
How In-Vehicle Shooting Works
A passenger equips a weapon from the hotbar and fires while the driver maintains control of the vehicle. The feature is intended for chase roleplay, heist escapes, and Border Patrol response — not for spawn camping or random highway griefing.
Community gameplay after the July patch shows the mechanic pairing with bank robbery getaways, smuggling escapes, and Police / Border Patrol intercepts. Re-test after each biweekly update because weapon balance still shifts.
Civilian and Crew Tactics
Assign clear crew roles before a high-stakes run: driver, shooter, and lookout. On bikes, expect less platform stability than in an SUV — keep gunfights short and commit to an exit route toward the tunnel, helicopter extract, or city alleys.
Never combine this feature with auto-farm scripts or external executors. San Diego Border Community bans exploiters. Legitimate roleplay still risks arrest, printer confiscation, or wanted levels when agents respond in character.
Border Patrol and Police Response
Treat armed vehicles as high-priority incidents. Call backup in team chat, cut off escape roads, and roleplay less-lethal tools before lethal force when the scenario allows. Coordinate so one unit blocks while another pursues.

Etiquette and Safety
