Every team in San Diego Border Roleplay ships with unique vehicles — patrol interceptors, civilian sedans, cargo trucks, and specialist transport. This guide explains how to spawn, operate, and choose the right vehicle for your roleplay scenario at the San Diego border.
How Vehicle Spawning Works
The official game flow starts with "spawn your vehicle" before approaching the checkpoint. Vehicle spawn menus are located at team bases and garages marked on the map. Select an available vehicle from your team roster and press E (PC) or the equivalent interact button to enter.
Your current team determines the vehicle pool. Border Patrol agents access marked units with emergency equipment. Civilians choose from personal transport options. Switch teams to access different vehicle categories — you cannot spawn patrol vehicles while on a civilian team.
Border Patrol Vehicles
Patrol vehicles include interceptors, SUVs, and checkpoint support units with team livery and emergency lighting. Use these for checkpoint response, pursuit roleplay, and escort duties. See our Items — Vehicles page for the current roster and any gamepass-locked options.
Drive patrol vehicles responsibly. Siren roleplay and high-speed pursuits create exciting scenes, but reckless driving that disrupts checkpoint queues or ramming civilians without roleplay context violates server etiquette.
Civilian Vehicles
Civilian vehicles range from compact cars for solo crossings to trucks for cargo roleplay. Choose a vehicle matching your cover story — a family sedan for commuter roleplay, a commercial truck for hauling goods through inspection. Oversized vehicles may require additional inspection time at the checkpoint.
Driving Tips at the Checkpoint
Approach at moderate speed and stop cleanly when signaled. Use turn signals roleplay in chat when changing lanes in the queue. Keep headlights on during night cycles if the game supports day/night transitions. After inspection, accelerate smoothly through the gate without stopping abruptly on the other side.
